The Marketing Partnership Programme (MPP) is part of STB’s COVID 19 Recovery Plan. The key objective is to support the international marketing initiatives of hotels, attractions, inbound travel agents and the MICE sector in Singapore, to maintain their international presence, position Singapore as a choice destination for business events and drive tourist demand when the market recovers.
The hotel sizing system is a reference system developed by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) to categorize different hotels in Singapore into different sizes based on a combination of factors that include average room rates, location, and product characteristics. The sizes can generally be categorized into large, medium, and small segments.

At least 60% of hotel room stock to achieve internationally-recognised hotel sustainability certification (e.g. by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council) by 2025 For hotels to commence tracking of emissions by 2023, reduce emissions by 2030, with a view to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050
